TogetherCrew’s X Space with Snapshot Labs: Decision making within communities
Did you know that average voter turnout in DAOs is alarmingly low, often <20%?
This week TogetherCrew hosted an X Space with Aureliano Buendia, from Snapshot Labs. It was a very interesting discussion that touched on each step of the decision-making process - awareness, participation, and execution.
If you missed the conversation, you can listen to the recording here.
Opus Collective
Join us this Wednesday, May 22nd at 16:00 UTC for the next session of our Community of Practice, Opus Arcade.
Drea, a member of RnDAO, helped to facilitate a citizens’ assembly in Cosmos and is currently helping with a proposal for Optimism. Both of these projects are led by Antoine Verge, from Mission Publiques, with decades of experience leading deliberative assemblies in Europe.
Drea wants to share what she learned, how it feels different in DAOs, and some opportunities she sees for scaling assemblies in Web 3. Expect more of a conversation than a presentation.
Opus Arcade offers the opportunity for members of the Opus Collective and our wider community to come together, share knowledge, exchange experiences, and dig into cutting-edge topics in organization design and sense-making.
Don't miss out on this chance to engage with fellow professionals and explore new ideas in a collaborative environment. We look forward to seeing you there!
Microsense
This week, the team focused on studying everything about the learning in public strategy for early startups to adopt.
Microsense is currently in the research phase and generating ideas from the learning in public strategy that will execute. This will greatly help Microsense position their product in the right direction and connect with the target audience's newsletter.
Additionally, they're initiating their cycle plan for problem research to get the team moving. They'll dive deeper into the problem space they're examining and explore all available possibilities. Microsense invite supporters interested in collaborative research and AI to join the unit and help to maintain important conversations.
Collabberry
Collabberry is seeking funding through two grants to kickstart the development process.
They are applying for Singularity NET's Deep Funding, which is a bounty platform offering compensation in Project Points and monetary rewards for low-risk contributions.
Collabberry is also applying for Questbook to help launch the contributor platform.
Closing the biggest attack vectors on DAOs by Q blockchain
On Thursday, May 16th, a representative from Q Blockchain (a potential unit in RnDAO) gave a presentation on Q to core members of RnDAO, exploring ways we can collaborate.
