Weaving together Identity and Reputation - a panel of different perspectives

Thursday, July 25th at 16:00 UTC - 1 hour

The most fundamental element in any collaboration ecosystem is identity - who is this, what have they done before, what are they promising to do for us, where do we reward them?

But this element has also been broken for decades - not included in early protocols, torn between a need for knowledge and a need for privacy, and built in chunks by centralized corporations.

The Web 3 world itself is dealing with significant problems - bots, sibyl attacks, and weak communities. But Web 3 is also where the most fundamental and interesting approaches to identity are being built.

This panel will be a conversation between deep thinkers on Decentralized Identity.

We’ll explore the different models, the trade-offs we may have to make and those that are illusions, and how identity protocols will fit into a larger ecosystem.

Stay tuned for updates as we can't wait to introduce our guests soon :)
